Jamie and Kayce founded LKW Design Associates in 2013 creating a design team that quickly began to stand out to clients looking for a fresh take on mountain interior design.

The team’s dedication to each project both creatively and professionally has allowed the company to grow a loyal client base that has provided opportunities across Colorado and the United States.

Jamie Critchlow, Principal Designer/Owner

Jamie Critchlow is a lead design principal and founder of LKW Design Associates in Edwards, Colorado, catering to the diverse vacation homeowner. Bringing a worldly esthetic, strong leadership, and a tenacious desire to exceed clients’ expectations, Jamie is an integral part of the LKW Design team.

Jamie studied Interior Design at the College of Architecture at the University of Nebraska. Her extensive mastery of space planning and material and furnishing specifications combined with her highly proficient technical skills in both AutoCAD and Photoshop make her a valuable partner at LKW Design.

Jamie enjoys the collaborative process between Client, Interior Designer, Contractor, and Architect, and understands how essential communication is with so many moving parts. As part of her continued education, she earned her NCIDQ Certification in 2010 and is an active Professional Member of the ASID and IIDA.

Kayce Newell, Principal Designer/Owner

Kayce Newell is a founding principal and lead designer at LKW Design Associates, where her belief in building lasting relationships with clients has helped shape the company’s mantra to bring creative design solutions with quality client service to every project.

Kayce moved to the Vail Valley in 2006 after graduating from Texas Tech University to begin her career and early on, won the ASID Crystal Award of Emerging Designer for her work on a penthouse in Vail, CO. She has been featured in the Vail Daily and Colorado Home and Lifestyles Magazine.

Kayce earned her NCIDQ Certification in 2010, and is an active Professional Member of ASID. Kayce is committed to completing unique projects that focus on reflecting her clients’ diverse personal taste and style. Kayce’s in depth experience as both Project Manager and Interior Designer on new construction and remodel projects makes her an invaluable part of the team on every project.
