Skiing and world class restaurants are just two of the things that bring our clients to our little slice of Colorado heaven. The laid-back attitude of our mountain community is a huge draw for visitors allowing them to take a breath from their busy lives and focus on relaxation and reconnecting with family. Typically, our clients ask that we implement elements into the interior design that reflect their desire to have a mountain retreat that is cozy and low-maintenance, while still reflecting their personal style. Its basically Super Bowl Sunday everyday after the ski lifts close and families gather in their homes to lounge, snack and watch the day’s GoPro footage.

Creating a living room that the whole family can enjoy involves satisfying a few different priority sets. Each family tends to have three areas we address to design a room for the whole family: 1) a big TV, surround sound, and a comfy sofa; 2) a high-end design look; and 3) durability for dogs and kids.

The “big, black box” in the room is a source of major focus in all our interior design projects. Clients ask for the biggest TV possible without it becoming the focal point of the room. We feel we are most successful in achieving that by integrating the TV into the design of the fireplace so that it becomes part of an overall composition.
Comfortable furniture is a must in all our projects, and discerning design taste doesn’t mean your furniture can’t be comfortable. Each year, we attend markets around the country to make sure the product we use in our projects meets both design and comfort requirements. To make furniture durable, we use quality outdoor fabrics that are soft to the touch made from solution-dyed acrylic fibers that won’t stain or fade in our high altitude sun. There are also many leather options available that are scratch resistant and treated to prevent staining in high traffic areas.

To achieve a cozy and welcoming space we layer soft fabrics, luxurious faux furs, and personalized accessories among the furniture and fabrics custom selected by our designers for each project.
Once you have your game viewing space ready, all you have to worry about is the food and LKW has that ready to go! Keep the mess to a minimum while still paying homage to the traditional football fare with a wingless buffalo chicken pizza and beer sangria. These are sure to be a fan favorite!

  • 3/4 pound chicken breast cutlets
  • Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
  • 2 tsp. grill seasoning
  • 1 pizza dough store bought or from you favorite pizzeria
  • Cornmeal or flour, to handle dough
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. hot sauce, medium to spicy heat
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 3 scallions thinly sliced

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Preheat grill pan to high.
  2. Place chicken on a plate and drizzle extra-virgin olive oil over the chicken then season with grill seasoning. When grill is hot, add chicken and cook about 3 minutes on each side.
  3. Stretch dough to form pizza using cornmeal or flour to help you handle it. If you let it rest and warm up a few minutes it will handle even easier. Set pizza on pizza pan to the side and clean board.
  4. In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt butter and stir in Worcestershire, hot sauce, and tomato sauce.
  5. Remove the chicken from grill and thinly slice it. Add chicken to sauce and coat. Cover the pizza dough with the saucy Buffalo chicken, cheeses, and scallions. Bake 18 minutes or until crisp.
